Do you have old IT equipment with data still stored on it? We can safely and securely remove your private data and provide you with a Certificate of Destruction. We have two methods of Data Destruction, Electronic and Physical.
Electronic Data Destruction
With Electronic data destruction, the hardware is cleaned using software that covers all recognised international data destruction regulations such as US DoD 5220.22-M, HIPAA, SOX, FACT ACT and GLBA. You will be provided with a report once the destruction process has been completed. It costs more to have data electronically destroyed, but it may save you money if you wish to use the storage device again in the future.
Physical Data Destruction
With Physical destruction, the hardware is physically removed and destroyed and no one will ever be able to recover the data again. Your data destruction report will include photographic evidence of the destruction process. Please contact us for a free quote and to find out more information.
We securely destroy all types of storage devices including:
- PC Hard Drives
- Laptop Hard Drives
- Server Hard Drives
- iPads & iPods
- Generic Tablets
- USB Memory Sticks
- Backup Tapes
- External Hard Drives
Once your data has been physically or electronically destroyed, no one will ever be able to retrieve it again using any known recovery techniques.
You will be issued with a Certificate of Destruction, documenting what was done with the hardware along with photographic timestamped evidence of the physical destruction process.
Any leftover components, such as the video cards & motherboards will be recycled. We also purchase redundant IT Equipment such as PCs, Monitors, Laptops, Phones, Switches, Routers and Tablets.
