How To Remember The Difference Between IDs & Classes (Programming)

A class is always a hash – #

An id is always a dot – .

Sounds easy right? But it’s one of the things I keep forgetting.

While speaking to an experienced programmer who had the same problem, he let me know that the way he remembered it is by calling a class a clash.

Simplicity itself.
